Emirati Short Film Programme

This free programme screens as part of the European Film Festival, organised by the Delegation of the European Union to the UAE in partnership with the Cultural Foundation Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah Art. The films:

Guardians of the Mountains: dir Ali Fuad (2025: 15 mins) Set in the mountains of Ras Al Khaimah, the film follows the Hebsi, Shehi, and other tribes whose traditions have endured for centuries.

Namoos: dir Nada Jahed (2025: 11 mins) An Emirati woman’s first competitive camel race is seen through fragments of memory and motion.

Unsaid: dir Mansour Ahmed (2026: 10 mins) Two childhood friends meet to catch up – but one is carrying a secret that changed the other’s life in ways he never knew.
