Family Day at 421

A day full of gallery adventures, stories, and hands-on activities for families. It begins with a collective exploration of the idea of ‘ripples’, riffing on the current 421 exhibition Rays, Ripples, Residue; the tour concludes with a reading of Colorful Leaps with curator Munira Al Sayegh on the Bait15 Bed, an artwork within the exhibition.

Afterwards there are drop-in activities taking place across 421. Early Starters is hosting creative sessions in Studio 2 & 3 and the Courtyard, while Studio Play transforms into a hands-on Yallah Play experience led by Hannah Phillips with “sensory stations” and creative activities.

421 says it’s a day made for kids “but with plenty for grown-ups to enjoy too”.
