Steven Briggs excellent high-energy US standup with a CV that includes winning one of the Moth’s StorySLAMs (open-mic storytelling competition in which anyone can share a true, personal, five-minute story on the night’s theme)

Kelsey De Almeida good anecdotal and observational comedy with wit and polish from a British standup with a very distinctive voice

Maher Barwany reliably funny and local too – he’s a mainstay of the Dubai circuit
