We call it Ballet: Sleeping Beauty

This is a version of the ballet that features just six dancers (rather than the 30 or more in a full conventional production) “to bring this classic tale to life on stage”.  The show is created, directed, and choreographed by María Farelo and Cristian Pérez of Luma Artistas, whose style is to focus on storytelling through movement, emphasizing character development and emotional depth. The choreography incorporates a mix of classical ballet techniques and modern dance, and the production also features striking visual elements including glow-in-the-dark costumes and high-tech lighting designs; the intention is to honour the original tale while providing a perspective that resonates with contemporary audiences.

There are shows at 6.30 and 9pm.
