Charade: dir Stanley Donen (1963)

Stanley Donen’s Paris-set romantic screwball / comedy / mystery film has been described as “the best Hitchcock film Hitchcock never made” – it has a genius plot, an elegant (or kitschy, depending on your tastes) vibe, and real chemistry between Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn. The classy cast also features Walter Matthau, James Coburn, George Kennedy, and Dominique Minot. Recommended, especially with the free popcorn.
