Almost, Maine

A rare non-improv evening at the Courtyard, and a perfect Valentine’s treat: John Cariani’s play is made up of a series of interconnected vignettes that explore love and loss in a remote, mythical New England town called Almost. A charming exploration of love’s many facets, filled with wit, warmth, and unexpected surprises, it’s become one of the most popular playscripts in the States.

It’s directed by “invited members of [the Courtyard] community”, coordinated by Penny Mackenzie and Tawfeeq Samodien. As with all Courtyard shows, this is a free and unticketed event (donations welcome) – put your name on the guestlist and get there early enough to bag a seat.
