Untamed Pages II

The second in a series of playwriting workshop for writers, artists and performers. Playwright and artist Rebecca Crookshank invites participants to create a scene structured around the rituals of a dinner; “through playful experimentation building on the shared celebration of kinship and mythologies from our everyday lives, we ask for writers and actors to experiment together, each bringing a significant character in history that holds personal meaning.” Participants will design the ambiance, from the place settings to the menu and consider who they would invite to this figurative table, envisioning characters from history – what might they say, and how might they interact with others around them.
