UAE-based Shawn Chidiac – known as myparents_are_divorced on Instagram – is great at character skits, thanks in part to his excellent imitations of just about any accent from the region. The results have apparently offended some people, but don’t come to comedy gigs if you’re oversensitive … Anyhow, we’re promised “an evening of side-splitting humour, heartfelt anecdotes, and uproarious performances”, which is just as well given the ticket prices. Also on the bill: two good Dubai stand-up stalwarts, Imah Dumagay and Maher Barwany.
