An adaptation of Sidney Lumet’s courtroom drama 12 Angry Men, transposed to Punjab in the 1890s (and delivered in Punjabi, with English subtitles). The members of a jury deliberate a guilty verdict that means death for the accused; one of them casts doubt on key elements of the case … “This gripping narrative in a charged courtroom, explores themes of justice, morality and the relentless pursuit of the truth”.
The show is the second of two collaborations between DramaED Productions, Dubai’s own Tall Tales Production, and The Junction – the other was Rahu on 1 February.
