SUMMARY:LAST CHANCE RUSTING ECHOES
DESCRIPTION:Works by Yoshi (Aisha Al Ali)\, Ammar Al Banna\, Ahmed Al Kuwaiti and Shaikha Al Shamsi. The theme is time as both a material and emotional presence\, expressed through processes of transformation\, memory\, repetition\, and decay – so time not as a measured unit\, but as something felt through texture\, resonance\, and change. “The artists engage in slow\, process-driven methods that register time through touch\, material\, and repetition” and the exhibition “reflects on how time manifests quietly through change\, decay\, and resonance\, revealing both impermanence and continuity in the marks it leaves …” It is curated by art educator and researcher Sarrah Bashir.

SUMMARY:LAST CHANCE Mobius Design Studio: Crystal No.6
DESCRIPTION:This exhibition celebrates the historic Dubai neighbourhood of Freej Al MurarFreej Al Murar as a living archive of artistry\, community\, and resilience. In this research project\, Sharjah-based Mobius Design Studio – led by Hadeyeh Badri\, Hala Al-Ani\, and Riem Ibrahim – has explored the layered histories and vibrant culture of Freej Al Murar. \nAt its core\, the project acknowledges the erasure driven by capitalism\, where the beauty of traditional garments often overshadows the labour and stories of their makers. The project began with an exploration of the mkhawera\, the traditional embroidered garment of Emirati women; this work pays homage to the artisans who are often excluded from the narrative. \nThe exhibition features an installation of nine addas (embroidery stretchers) with embroidered personal narratives by artisans\, a short film by Abdulla Majjan\, and a publication with essays that explore the neighbourhood’s significance.
