SUMMARY:Artist Talks: Moza Al Mazrouei – For Purposes Other than Intended
DESCRIPTION:A conversation moderated by Sarah Almehairi exploring Moza Al Mazrouei’s artistic practice across sculpture\, film\, mixed media\, writing\, and curation. Moving between research and fiction\, observation and participation\, the discussion touches on authorship\, selfhood\, and the structures of power that shape how we see and understand the world. \nThis part of the NYUAD Art Gallery’s Artist Talks\, an artist-to-artist conversation series founded and curated by Sarah Almehairi. The series brings together creatives based in or affiliated with the UAE to discuss their practices\, forming part of Almehairi’s broader effort to expand cultural discourse and further connect the local art community. \nRight: Moza Al Mazrouei\, Bring Back the Queen (2024: film still)
