DESCRIPTION:Dubai Culture’s Makers Days initiative is back – two days intended to promote creative manufacturing in Dubai by bringing together makers\, designers\, artists\, creative entrepreneurs\, manufacturers\, and fabricators with a view to promoting new opportunities for SMEs (both manufacturers and people who might want something made). It’s aiming to attract more than 150 participants for a programme of workshops\, talks\, panel discussions\, networking sessions; a Maker’s Connect programme will provide “curated mentorship opportunities”; and there will be guided visits to a selection of production facilities within the Al Quoz Creative Zone. \nApplogies for the lack of detail; we have gleaned this much from a press release but there doesn’t seem to be any online information either at Dubai Culture’s website or Alserkal’s.
