SATURDAY 9 MAY<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n

4-5pm<\/strong>\u00a0start at The Yard<\/em> TOUR<\/strong><\/span> Slow Art Walk with Camilla Singh
\n<\/strong>Artist, curator, and cultural strategist Camilla Singh leads a tour of three selected galleries that offers an alternative way to engage with art, “taking the time to slow down and reflect rather than rushing to unpack or understand”. Register here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

6-7pm<\/strong>\u00a0start at The Yard<\/em> TOUR<\/strong><\/span> Slow Art Walk with Priyanka Mehra
\n<\/strong>Curator Priyanka Mehra (Ishara Arts Foundation) leads a tour of the Avenue, beginning with “the act of noticing how the Avenue unfolds through gestures of public art, quiet interventions and the spaces in between …” Register here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

5-6pm<\/strong> Common Room<\/em> CONVERSATION<\/strong><\/span> From Fences to Facades: Typologies of all Types<\/strong>
\nHussain AlMoosawi<\/strong> reflects on a visual language that shaped his practice and ongoing engagement with multiple urban landscapes through a show-and-tell followed by a conversation with Raz Hansrod<\/strong>. Register here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

7-8.30pm<\/strong> The Yard <\/em>FILM <\/strong><\/span>Moon Is The Oldest TV: dir Amanda Kim (2023)
\n<\/strong>Kim’s documentary profiles the career of Nam June Paik<\/strong> and his pioneering contributions to video art. A timely meditation on the contradictory ways in which technology elicits both fascist tendencies and intercultural understanding, the film charts Paik\u2019s artistic evolution with an extensive archive of performance footage, original interviews from Paik\u2019s contemporaries and collaborators and a voiceover of Nam June Paik\u2019s writings. SUNDAY 10 MAY<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n

11am<\/strong>\u00a0Project Space<\/em>\u00a0KIDS WORKSHOP<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Create Your Own: Split Spin Animal Puppets
\n<\/strong>Medaf Creative Studio + Art Spaces Participants leads a fun hands-on activity that encourages creativity, storytelling, and imaginative play that creates jointed puppets from pre-cut paper animal pieces.<\/p>\n

12-5pm<\/strong> Alserkal Arts Foundation<\/em> MEET THE ARTISTS<\/strong><\/span>
\nSpend an afternoon at the Alserkal Arts Foundation studios \u2013 currently hosting artists Alla Abdunabi, Richi Bhatia & Hira Khan<\/strong>, and Maryam Abdulrahma,<\/strong> each navigating the tensions of materiality, memory and transformation. Register here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
