It goes on: &#8220;the exhibition is less concerned with depicting bodies in their recognisable form than with asking how the body &#8230; becomes a vessel for history, inheritance, and imagination&#8221;; and &#8220;rather than presenting a singular mode of figuration or abstraction, the exhibition unfolds as a spectrum of strategies.
