Jake is a New York novelist with a troubled marriage; he can\u2019t stop talking to other women in his life, some of whom are imaginary, in an attempt to gain some insight on the problem \u2013 his daughter Molly, his sister Karen, his psychiatrist Edith, his dead wife Julie \u2026 The result is a poignant comedy with a witty take on modern relationships.
