Intricate Foley work is matched by the sheer skill of the actors and the increasingly manic complexity of the situations \u2013 the Mines of Moria, a gloriously OTT death for Boromir, and four hobbits being played by three people are standout moments, but there are many \u2026 (Why ‘Fly, You Fools’? It\u2019s what Gandalf said to the company just as the Balrog dragged him down. He didn\u2019t mean flap your wings, obvs \u2013 it was \u2018fly\u2019 in the sense of \u2018flee\u2019.)<\/p>\n
