This year\u2019s film programme as part of the Jameel\u2019s Night School 2026<\/strong><\/a> has five shorts exploring how neighbourhoods and other places endure over time. through ways of property markets, political erasure, and the whim of human interest. The screening will be followed by a discussion between the programme’s curator Hind Mezaina\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Todd Reisz<\/strong>, leader of the Night School.<\/p>\n

Wunderland Kalkar is an amusement park built at a former nuclear power station in Germany. It was completed in 1985, one year before the Chernobyl disaster; under pressure from local interest groups, it was finally cancelled in 1991.
