Peter and Debbie are a timorous suburban couple who are \u201cdying of manners\u201d. They can\u2019t communicate with their teenage children, can\u2019t stand their neighbour, and can\u2019t believe they have agreed to host a brash American, Elsa, who was amusing company when they met on a cruise … but that was then. Her arrival prompts Peter to yearn for a real-life equivalent of Facebook\u2019s ‘unfriend’ button. After all, if the internet rumours are to be believed she may well be a murderer. Still, that\u2019s no reason to kick her out, is it?<\/p>\n
This well-reviewed black comedy of crumbling boundaries and exquisite embarrassment was written by Steven Moffat, showrunner and head writer of Doctor Who (2010\u20132017) and co-creator of Sherlock (2010\u20132017), and is directed for H72 Productions\u00a0by Priya Pinto.
