Within this structure, vertical dashes appear as symbols of strength, an elemental part of her visual language\u201d.<\/p>\n
In her paintings, brushwork collides with the mechanical application of paint: the thickness of the paint invites a tactile response. The characteristic grid over her work contrasts with these impulses of freedom \u00ad and Raj has a good relationship with geometry: she frequently activates a composition by dividing it into two, opening space for a dual approach within the same frame.
