A seven-day live art “experience” (7-13 November, 5-9pm) lets visitors watch and take part in the creative process as a different artist each day runs a live demonstration and participative workshop.<\/p>\n

7 Nov<\/em> Azza Al Qubaisi Express Yourself on the Palm<\/span><\/strong> The Emirati artist leads a workshop inspired by the symbolic Palm Eye, a reflection of unity, and creativity. Participants will express themselves using natural materials such as sand, leaves, rope and thread, adding their personal touch to individual palm pieces<\/p>\n 9 Nov<\/em> Marta Lamovsek<\/strong> Daughter of the Dunes<\/strong><\/span> Photographer Marta Lamovsek leads a portrait workshop exploring identity, empowerment and self-expression. Drawing inspiration from Emirati heritage and craftsmanship, participants will engage in a transformative creative process guided by storytelling, styling and intuitive direction. The session will culminate in a live projection of the completed portraits<\/p>\n 9 Nov<\/em> Nathaniel Alapide<\/strong> Sands of Time<\/strong><\/span> Sand artist Nathaniel Alapide will invite participants to help bring to life a sweeping composition that features camels, dunes and Dubai\u2019s skyline, Participants will be contributing to a collective work that celebrates craftsmanship and community.<\/p>\n 10 Nov<\/em> Rany Melad<\/strong> The Silent Grace<\/strong><\/span> Mosaic designer and visual artist Rany Melad will lead a collaborative workshop with pre-cut tiles assembled into a laser engraved panel. The result will be a large, handcrafted mural symbolising patience, collaboration and unity in design.<\/p>\n 11 Nov<\/em> Aga Korycka Falcon \u2013 Born of Sea and Sand<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0Polish resin artist Aga Korycka will guide participants through a sculptural workshop inspired by the UAE\u2019s natural landscapes, using driftwood, palm fibres, shells, stones and resin falcons.<\/p>\n 12 Nov<\/em> Moosa Al Halyan<\/strong> Neigh<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Emirati painter Moosa Al Halyan will lead a collaborative art experience focused on movement and expression. Using his signature fluid line-drawing technique, he will create a dynamic horse composition while inviting participants to experiment with colour, form, and emotion.<\/p>\n 13 Nov<\/em> Ghaleb Hawila<\/strong> The Dirham<\/strong><\/span> Lebanese calligrapher Ghaleb Hawila will close the week with a participatory artwork inspired by the Emirati coin.<\/p>\n The completed artworks will remain on display until Union Day on 3 December.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
