Essentially it\u2019s a high-powered large-scale three-day conference and exhibition that aims to shape \u201cthe future of media, content and entertainment\u201d across seven core tracks \u2013 Media, Creator Economy, Music, Gaming, Tech, Marketing, and Picture \u2013 which between them should have 300 exhibitors, 200 talks and panels, 50 interactive workshops, and multiple opportunities for matchmaking and networking.<\/p>\n
It is also aiming for more than 60,000 ‘participants’, a more pointedly proactive term than \u2018visitors\u2019; admission is free, but you have to apply for a ticket to demonstrate that you qualify.<\/p>\n
Certainly the speaker list is impressive \u2013 lots of traditional and digital media bigwigs from around the world; a sprinkling of philanthropists and a mass of investors, bankers and entrepreneurs; a bevy of enthusiasts and C-suite denizens from AI; several marketing-oriented thinkers and doers with a media or tech bias; and a couple of British ex-politicians.<\/p>\n
