Something of a coup for the Encore Presents series of recitals, curated by Amira Fouad and presented with the Royal Grammar School Guildford Dubai: the stunning British piano virtuoso Benjamin Grosvenor has been accumulating accolades \u2013 from reviewers (\u201ceverything Grosvenor touches turns to gold\u201d, “a genius who has reached the height of his interpretive powers\u201d) and in terms of awards: among others, Grosvenor has been named Gramophone\u2019s Young Artist of the Year, won a Classical Brit Critics\u2019 Award, and has a Diapason d\u2019Or Jeune Talent Award. He is internationally recognised for his electrifying performances, his technical gifts, a distinctive sound and what S\u00fcddeutsche Zeitung called “the unmistakable sense of poetic immersion directed solely at the realisation of music\u201d.
