Louis Malle anarchic, surrealistic comedy, based on a popular novel by Raymond Queneau that had been considered unadaptable, rides roughshod over the City of Light. Made with real flair, <em>Zazie dans le m\u00e9tro<\/em> is stream-of-consciousness slapstick, full of great visual gags and editing tricks &#8230; Highly recommended.
