One of the most consistently funny of the Courtyard’s classic improv gigs: the speakers have to give a presentation on a slide deck they\u2019ve never seen before, with the topic determined at random by the Wheel of Destiny. Each presentation will be rated by a panel of judges and the winner applauded as the PowerPointless champion.<\/p>\n
The presenters: Rami Boraie <\/strong>(reigning champion); Ahmed Al Achrafi<\/strong> (“the Sultan of Spontaneity and Maestro of Multilingual Motivation”); Kyle Herselman<\/strong> (who’s spent his entire \u2013 albeit brief \u2013 working life in theatre and improvisation); Lucy Kitson<\/strong> (actress, storyteller, comedian, self-proclaimed expert in the fine art of pretending to have it all together); and Alana<\/strong> Hicks<\/strong> (acting teacher who aims to prove that teaching and acting aren’t so different). There’s a Special Guest Presenter too \u2013 Nicholas Ashkar<\/strong>, head of the education division at Publicis Groupe.<\/p>\n It\u2019s free, with donations welcome; but you need to put your name on the guestlist (via the website: it\u2019s first-come first-served, so get there early enough to grab a seat).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
