Quoz Arts Fest returns for its 11th edition, filling Alserkal Avenue with music, food and family-friendly fun for two days.<\/p>\n
The Quoz Encore stage for emerging musicians of all ages and backgrounds is back, and in total there are more than 200 live performances and other \u201ccultural activations\u201d by artists from the region (including crowd favourite Big Hass and magpie favourite Noon) and beyond \u2013 like the Sudanese fusion duo MarSimba and RUST (aka Hani Manna and Petra Hawi) from Lebanon; the Tanzanian-born performance artist Dipesh Pandya will have a live performance and installation transforming a car into a sonic sculpture via spoken word specifically written in response to the Al Quoz neighbourhood; and there\u2019s a participatory interactive sound environment at Concrete by the London-based Japanese artist Yuri Suzuki.<\/p>\n

Quoz Arts Fest also includes a series of all-day markets, installations, and workshops; and there will be plenty of F&B there to ease your day. For kids there are art workshops, a pop-up DJ school, and other activities and performances.<\/p>\n
