Twelve hours of non-stop improv to raise money for the Gulf for Good Citizen\u2019s Foundation campaign<\/a> to provide quality education for 180 children in a rural village in Pakistan. There are performances of the Courtyard’s regular improv sessions and free improv\/acting workshops, both running throughput the day \u2013 kids first, adults later in the afternoon and into the evening.<\/p>\n

Everything is free, but donations are of course welcome (and indeed expected). You’re advised to pre-register ; the Courtyard’s rep for improv (and for audience laughs) should mean it’s packed out.<\/p>\n

\n<\/b>Children in the audience create three Superheroes with special abilities and guide them through adventures<\/p>\n

2.45pm \u2013 3.45pm <\/i>This Is Impro<\/b>
\nFamily friendly improvisation influenced by audience suggestions<\/p>\n

4pm – 6pm<\/i> Theatresports
\n<\/b>Teams of the best improvisers in Al Quoz pit their acting skills against each other to win the coveted Theatresports trophy<\/p>\n

6.15pm – 7.15pm<\/i> Film Noir
\n<\/b>Improvised Murder Mystery based on the 1950s\u2019 Film Noir genre<\/p>\n

7.30pm – 8.15pm<\/i> Ahmed
\n<\/b>Three Ahmeds take to the stage for bilingual Improv<\/p>\n

8.30pm \u2013 11pm <\/i>Maestro<\/b>
\nImprovisers are scored by the audience, with the lowest scores eliminated in each round until only one is left<\/p>\n
