We\u2019ve tried to figure out what this involves, we wondered how the 1bn has been calculated, we looked in vain for a website (or even a reference on Dubai Culture\u2019s), and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/magpie.ae\/staging4\/aed-1bn-in-support-for-dubais-creative-sector-coming-real-soon-now\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>we have a load more questions<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:#fcf100\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Beautiful museums<\/mark><\/strong>&nbsp;The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.prix-versailles.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Prix Versailles<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;people have unveiled their 2026 list of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.prix-versailles.com\/2026\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>World&#8217;s Most Beautiful Museums<\/strong><\/a>, with the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/zayednationalmuseum.ae\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Zayed National Museum<\/strong><\/a> named as one of seven that &#8220;provide a real illustration of how strength and talent can be revealed through harmony, sensitivity and sharing&#8221;&nbsp;&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:#fcf100\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Making makers<\/mark><\/strong> Abu Dhabi\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/abudhabiculture.ae\/en\/gad-contemporary-makers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Contemporary Makers<\/strong><\/a> initiative returns for 2026 as <strong>Digital Fabrication<\/strong>, &#8220;a hands-on programme exploring how ideas move beyond the screen and into the real world&#8221;. Developed by Guggenheim Abu Dhabi with MAKE and SWALIF, it introduces participants (UAE-based 18\u201325 year olds) to tools such as laser cutting and CNC \u2013 no experience needed, though. There\u2019s one full-day training session in the first week of June followed by eight Thursday evenings, 5-7pm, 11 June to 30 July.
