This is good news: it\u2019s a significant exhibition that brings together a range of works by artists from across the Gulf to offer different perspectives on cultural, social, and environmental themes.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/magpie.ae\/staging4\/five-years-of-art-in-the-gulf-nyuad-art-gallery-picks-some-pointers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Here\u2019s our take on it<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:#fcf100\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Dubai art<\/mark><\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/magpie.ae\/staging4\/event\/alserkal-art-week\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Alserkal Art Week<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0runs 17-24 November.\u00a0As usual many of the galleries will be opening new shows during the week (we count 10), but the Alserkal Avenue people have been developing a programme themselves \u2013 screenings, performances, open studios, symposia, workshops, and slow art walks \u2013 so lots\u00a0more reasons to visit the Avenue.\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/magpie.ae\/staging4\/event\/alserkal-art-week\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Here are\u00a0our pickouts<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:#fcf100\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Abu Dhabi (Public) Art<\/mark><\/strong> Part two of Abu Dhabi\u2019s $35m public art initiative arrives this weekend in the form of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/magpie.ae\/staging4\/abu-dhabis-second-major-public-art-initiative-opens\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Public Art Biennial<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0\u2013 installations by 70+ artists, mostly in downtown Abu Dhabi and some around Al Ain Oasis. The organisers have laid out some routes to take in works in neat walkable chunks, with a few of them on\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DBzBBY1zGDe\/?igsh=ZXF6aXQzdnQ0aHV5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">an Insta page here<\/a><\/strong>. Every six to eight weeks, one or more partners gallery gets the space for their own artists. The auction is scheduled for Diriyah on 8 February 2025, a two-parter with fine art and a luxury goods sale.
