One of them will get the the Richard Mille Art Prize, which comes with $60,000 in cash.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Returning to the Art Here jury are <strong>Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan<\/strong>, art collector, chairman of UAE Unlimited, and a patron of Sharjah Art Foundation as well as the Centre Pompidou and the British Museum; and <strong>Souraya Noujaim<\/strong>, former Director for Scientific, Curatorial and Collections Management at Louvre Abu Dhabi and currently Director of the Islamic Arts department at Mus\u00e9e du Louvre in Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"280\" height=\"364\" src=\"https:\/\/magpie.ae\/staging4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/maya-el-khalil-photograph-by-Joanna-Vestey-copy.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-47115\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New jury members are\u00a0<strong>Maya El Khalil<\/strong> (right), independent curator and art advisor, who\u2019s curating Art Here 2023; <strong>Clare Lilley<\/strong>, the director of Yorkshire Sculpture Park and for 2012 to 22 the selector of the annual Frieze Sculpture exhibition in London; <strong>Guilhem Andr\u00e9<\/strong>, a seasoned museum professional and art historian who was recently named as the Louvre Abu Dhabi\u2019s Acting Director for Scientific, Curatorial and Collections Management; and\u00a0<strong>Mohammed Kazem<\/strong>, the noted Emirati artist who made the shortlist for the 2021 edition of\u00a0Art Here.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Louvre Abu Dhabi Art Here 2023&nbsp;will take place beneath the museum\u2019s dome with the theme \u2018Transparencies\u2019. Maya El Khalil described the idea of transparency as a response to the interplay of conditions there: \u201cThis is a masterfully realised space, where the structural perforations, light and shadow, water, and courtyards have established a distinctive atmosphere.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the first time the Art Here exhibition is taking place outdoors.
