The Amy Winehouse Band

It’s 20 years since Back to Black was released, so there’s a reasonable hook for this performance by “the original musicians who performed alongside Amy on stages around the world and helped shape her distinctive sound both live and in the studio”. The show is organised by Dale Davis, Amy Winehouse’s longtime bassist (he’s credited on some of Back to Black) and sometime musical director. We’re promised “an unforgettable celebration of Amy’s timeless songbook” with the Amy role going to “a powerful female vocalist personally selected by Dale Davis”.
