The Fridge Concert Series has always been A Good Thing – typically new(ish) and local(ish) artists given a decent set in a well-equipped space with a supportive audience – but for International Jazz Day the bookers have made something of a coup with this gig by the renowned Ghanaian bass player, composer and music entrepreneur, back on the road after a lengthy hiatus and with a new album (It’s Time) to promote.
