Private World

A group show for Lulua Alyahya, Rami Farook, Sohrab Hura, and Khaled Jarada that promises to take the viewer into “intimate, elusive worlds … Modest in scale, [the works] invite a form of looking that is closer and more inward, creating encounters that feel private rather than public”. The gallery goes on: “Many of the works evoke states of solitude, seclusion and inward attention. They seem to exist apart from the demands of the outside world, creating spaces for reflection, imagination and feeling. Across the exhibition, intimacy takes different forms: through personal observation, fragments and fleeting moments, relationships and lived experience, or through atmospheric and psychologically charged spaces …”
