Makers Days

Dubai Culture’s Makers Days initiative is back – two days intended to promote creative manufacturing in Dubai by bringing together makers, designers, artists, creative entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and fabricators with a view to promoting new opportunities for SMEs (both manufacturers and people who might want something made). It’s aiming to attract more than 150 participants for a programme of workshops, talks, panel discussions, networking sessions; a Maker’s Connect programme will provide “curated mentorship opportunities”; and there will be guided visits to a selection of production facilities within the Al Quoz Creative Zone.

Applogies for the lack of detail; we have gleaned this much from a press release but there doesn’t seem to be any online information either at Dubai Culture’s website or Alserkal’s. The programme will probably be published first on Instagram, so maybe keep an eye on that. We’ll try to keep abreast of this and update when we can …
