A solo exhibition of small sculptures by the celebrated Spanish artist at the gallery’s Atlantis outpost. Noted for his ability to transform familiar forms and classical references into contemporary pieces, Valdés uses meticulous craftsmanship to recontextualise idioms from the art historical canon. “Through his exploration of form and material, Valdés offers a compelling aesthetic dialogue between the past and the present” says the gallery.
