Charlie Koolhaas: AFTER THE IMAGE

Developed in relation to the UAE Modern Architectural Heritage Grant, AFTER THE IMAGE transforms a gallery presentation and a room of the XVA Art Hotel into an immersive archive of Dubai’s modern architectural heritage. Through photography, sculpture, textiles, and garments, the exhibition explores the city’s changing urban landscapes and the stories embedded within them. Koolhaas reimagines the archive as something lived, worn, and experienced, where architecture, memory, and everyday life converge … To 16 July.
