The uber-cool Pakistani-American singer (and songwriter, and producer) brings her latest – and very good – album Night Reign to Dubai. It’s elegantly jazzy, earning a 2024 Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Jazz Album (she didn’t win: it was a very strong year); the Wall Street Journal said “[Night Reign’s] beauty is self-evident, and it stands on its own”. Recommended, even if it looks a little pricey (but tickets to Zabeel Theatre concerts do buy you a 20% discount on F&B at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, which might help soften the blow).
