DESCRIPTION:Rana Begum brings her textile works to The Third Line for the first time. Her fifth solo exhibition at the gallery features a new body of large-scale wool tapestries presented alongside works on linen\, paper and MDF\, all reflecting the artist’s longstanding engagement with abstraction and minimalism and continuing her exploration of light through new materials and forms. Her characteristic engagement with geometry runs throughout\, with forms suggesting patterns that extend beyond their physical boundaries. \n
