DESCRIPTION:The fourth edition of Dubai Culture’s mini film festival takes place for nine days in January at the Al Marmoom Conservation Reserve. DESCRIPTION:Through her work\, Gargash delves into spirituality\, transformation\, and the human journey. Her first solo exhibition with the Maraya Art Centre has a title – kun means ‘to be’ – that reflects the exploration of a liminal state between different phases of being\, where transitions occur from one state of mind to another; Gargash aims to create an intervention that evokes a sense of journey\, path\, and guidance and fosters a deep understanding of connectivity. This intervention will be a long gold fabric integrated into the various spaces curated by the compass and its direction; the gold fabric will drape and cover any element crossing its path\, concealing them.
