DESCRIPTION:Twelve hours of non-stop improv to raise money for the Gulf for Good Citizen’s Foundation campaign to provide quality education for 180 children in a rural village in Pakistan. There are performances of the Courtyard’s regular improv sessions and free improv/acting workshops\, both running throughput the day – kids first\, adults later in the afternoon and into the evening. \nEverything is free\, but donations are of course welcome (and indeed expected). DESCRIPTION:This new open-air musical event series (in a purpose-built venue that will “boast a stunning backdrop of Saadiyat Island vistas” – though otherwise we’re not sure exactly where it is) kicks off with a concert from the best-selling American singer. Her famous five-octave vocal range is undimmed by time – she’s in her mid 50s now – and she continues to influence vocal styles like merging hip-hop with pop. Could be a good night. \n  \n  \n
