UAENO Season One Finale: Rhythm Without Borders

This second and last performance of the UAE National Orchestra’s Season One Finale programme promises “a vibrant celebration of diversity through music” under the baton of Ahmed Farag . It includes exciting contributions from the Western canon alongside compositions from oud master (and director of the Emirates Musical Ensemble) Abdulaziz Almadani – The Fiftieth Samaei, a piece that reimagines the historic samai form through a contemporary lens – and Qoutayba Neaimi’s specially commissioned orchestral suite celebrating the UAE’s musical heritage through arrangements of familiar songs by Emirati composers.
