Candlelight: Festival of Lights at Yas Bay Waterfront

Diwali would seem an entirely logical extension for the Candlelight series of candle-illuminated musical events. So we’re happy to flag up two free concerts for the Festival of Lights, with the plaza in front of Etihad Arena transformed into an atmospheric concert venue featuring thousands of candles illuminating the steps of the arena. Attendees will get Sarangi performances by Nabeel Khan’s Bollywood Ensemble and show-stopping dance routines from celebrity choreographer Sarah Pinto, with classical renditions of iconic Bollywood songs, including Tum Hi Ho by Arijit Singh, Lag Ja Gale by Lata Mangeshkar, and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s soulful O Re Piya, to name a few.

There are two performances (at 6.30 and 8.30pm) and spaces are limited – reserve tickets here.
