Samir, Wissam and Adnan are brothers and oud virtuosos who manage to play what is traditionally a solo instrument in tight harmonies and adventurous improvisation that stretches the traditions of the oud; their playing continues the traditions of Arabic oud music but also celebrates the culture of their home country, Palestine, with settings of the words of poet Mahmoud Darwish among their own compositions.
They’re in Abu Dhabi for a second gig on 14 December (and prices are a lot less stressful for that one).
