The second solo exhibition at the gallery for the Lebanese Paris-based sculptor, coinciding with the release of a monograph on his work. His work in wood offers a window back to what he calls the ‘landscape of childhood’; blocks piled on top of each other create cityscapes and mountains, revealing abstracted, silent faces, in a style that has come to define his work.

At 6pm on 18 November there’s a discussion between Chaouki Choukini and art critic Kevin Jones, moderated by Myrna Ayad, on Choukini’s practice and the making of his first monograph (published by Kaph Books, a comprehensive survey of the artist’s work with an in-depth essay by Jones).
