SUMMARY:The Unfriend
DESCRIPTION:Peter and Debbie are a timorous suburban couple who are “dying of manners”. They can’t communicate with their teenage children\, can’t stand their neighbour\, and can’t believe they have agreed to host a brash American\, Elsa\, who was amusing company when they met on a cruise … but that was then. Her arrival prompts Peter to yearn for a real-life equivalent of Facebook’s ‘unfriend’ button. After all\, if the internet rumours are to be believed she may well be a murderer. Still\, that’s no reason to kick her out\, is it? \nThis well-reviewed black comedy of crumbling boundaries and exquisite embarrassment was written by Steven Moffat\, showrunner and head writer of Doctor Who (2010–2017) and co-creator of Sherlock (2010–2017)\, and is directed for H72 Productions by Priya Pinto.
