DESCRIPTION:Open-air Khaleeji jazz from Boom.Diwan\, led by Grammy-nominated guitarist and ethnomusicologist Ghazi Al Mulaifi. Blending Gulf traditions with live improvisation\, Boom.Diwan brings a contemporary edge to regional music; for this performance they are joined by the Abu Dhabi Folklore & Theatre Society\, celebrated for their powerful performances of the UAE’s maritime heritage; and Emirati sound artist Safeya Alblooshi\, whose work connects sound\, environment\, and tradition \nIt’s free\, and seats will be allocated on a first-come\, first-served basis. And it takes place outdoors – dress appropriately.
