DESCRIPTION:This acclaimed interactive experience for the young has been a major success for Sydney Opera House; it’s a 40-minute show aimed at children aged 2 to 10 (and their families) which blends live music\, storytelling\, and song to introduce young audiences to the world of classical music “in a fun\, participatory\, and inclusive environment”; Mozart\, his wife and a string quartet help the audience explore the instruments\, scores\, and themes that characterise his best known compositions. \nThe show has curriculum connections to Performing Arts\, Fine Arts\, Social Studies\, History & Culture and is reportedly great for Emotional Development. A free teacher’s resource pack provides classroom exercises and curriculum links. \nThere are performances on 8 and 9 November.
