DESCRIPTION:This concert celebrating “the best of the choral and orchestral works of the British Isles” features some 60 voices and a 30-piece orchestra conducted by musical director Howard Wong. “The best” is a grand claim\, but certainly the programme features some well-loved classics – Nimrod\, The Lark Ascending\, On Hearing the First Cuckoo in Spring – before culminating with John Rutter’s glorious Requiem\, featuring soprano soloist Luana Godwin.
