DESCRIPTION:World Art Dubai is back for its eleventh edition\, with more than 10\,000 artworks from 400+ galleries and individual artists who come from more than 65 different countries. WAD has grown out of its early days as a simple lo-fi affordable art fair into a bustling\, buzzy four days. It still majors on the affordable art of the title (prices from $100\, we’re told); and since there’s no jury to oversee applications\, it’s likely to be variable in quality. But then that’s all part of the vibe …  There’s a full schedule of extras like live painting\, talks\, demos\, workshops\, and more: check out the programme here. \nWAD is open 1pm to 9pm. As well as the one-day one-adult ticket at AED 30 and a four-day pass for AED 50\, there’s reduced-price entry for kids aged 12-18 and family tickets at AED 60 (two adults one child) and AED 70 (two adults\, two children).
