SUMMARY:CLOSING TODAYThe Days Go On: 20 Years of Ayyam Gallery
DESCRIPTION:Ayyam’s 20th-anniversary exhibition seeks to honour a journey defined by continuity\, resilience\, and artistic exchange\, says the gallery; and\, “much like the gallery’s programming\, the exhibition is conceived as a visceral experience\, a story that has withstood the test of time …” \nAlongside co-curators Safwan Dahoul and Ali Kaaf\, director Maya Samawi aims to bring together works by all the artists who have shaped Ayyam over the past twenty years. Each of the curators represents a continuous artistic timeline in which the past and present remain undeniably connected; “Ayyam’s twenty years are not merely a measure of time. They constitute a living history – one that continues to unfold”. \nThe exhibition will feature works by an extraordinary roster of contemporary Middle Eastern artists: \n2006:\nYoussef Abdelke\nSafwan Dahoul\nMounzer Kamnakache\nFadi Yazigi\nAbdullah Murad \n2007:\nAssad Arabi\nNassouh Zaghlouleh\nMouneer Al Shaarani\nWalid El Masri\nKais Salman\nNihad Al Turk\nMouteea Murad\nMohannad Orabi\nOmran Younes\nAbdul Karim Majdal Al-Beik \n2008:\nAmmar Al-Beik\nAsma Fayoumi\nSamia Halaby\nTammam Azzam\nLeila Nseir\nMoustafa Fathi \n2009:\nOthman Moussa\nOussama Diab\nKhaled Takreti\nThaier Helal\nNadim Karam \n2010:\nRima Salamoun\nElias Izoli \n2011:\nSadik Kwaish Alfraji\nMohamad Badr\nLara Zankoul\nLara Attallah \n2012:\nAmmar Abd Rabbo \n2013:\nFarzad Kohan Mousawi\nAfshin Pirhashemi\nFaisal Samra\nAbdulnasser Gharem \n2014:\nFathallah Zamroud\nShurooq Amin\nMohammad Bozorgi \n2015:\nSama Alshaibi\nNoor Bahjat \n2016:\nRula Halawani\nKhaled Jarrar\nRashed Al Shashai \n2017:\nRoshanak Aminelahi\nAbdalla Al Omari \n2018:\nRashid Al Khalifa \n2022:\nMuatasim Alkubaisy \n2024:\nKhaled Akil \n2025:\nAthar Jaber\nAli Kaaf
