SUMMARY:City Circles: Architecture beyond walls – the role of landscaping in urban placemaking
DESCRIPTION:Part of Guggenheim Abu Dhabi’s ongoing City Circles programme exploring the connections between architecture\, the environment\, and urban life\, this conversation explores how culture is shaped not only inside museums and galleries but also in the public spaces and gardens where people gather\, meet and spend time together. How can landscape architecture create places that reflect local identity\, encourage community life and support cultural activity? These talks are both interesting and genuinely useful; let’s hope some kind of publication (print or online) comes out of them … \nThe panel: \nZain Masud Landscape Designer\nLulu Almana Landscape Architect\nLara Zureikat Landscape Architect\nModerator: Iaroslav Volovod Curator\, Guggenheim Abu Dhabi
